Draft a policy

Send us a policy. Get a draft in a language your children read.

A machine does the first pass, and it is free. It is a draft, not a translation — a speaker of the language has to approve the wording before anyone should print it or put it on a wall. This page never pretends otherwise.

These are the ones the machine is good enough at to be worth your time.

Not yet: Dholuo, Lugbara, Ateso, Luhya, Tigrinya. The machine is not good enough at these to hand you something you could rely on. Tell us you need one — that is what decides the order they are worked on.

Up to 4,000 words at a time while this is free.

We will send the draft here when it is ready.

It helps us know who needs which language.

Please do not send anything about a particular child. This is for policies and materials. If you are worried about a child right now, call 116 — it is free from any phone, day or night.

Phone numbers, email addresses and template fields are removed before any text leaves this server. What happens to what you send explains the rest, including what that masking does not catch.
